Pantelleria is Italy's southernmost island, just a few miles off the coast of Tunisia. This Passito made from the local Muscat variety benefits from the island's long, gentle autumn, yielding intensely concentrated fruit at harvest, patiently dried for furthur concentration. The resulting wine is incredibly intensely fruity, with pure marmalade and apricot notes, all tasting light and fresh on the palate thanks to the still impressive acidity. Sweet but not cloying, this is a delicious match for almond cakes or fruit-focused desserts.
