Gerard Bigonneau and his daughter, Virginie, craft this lovely Quincy that conveys all the goodness of Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc. A brilliant lime-glinted gold color, Bigonneau’s Quincy soars from the glass with textbook Sauvignon aromas of lemon zest, clover, white grapefruit, chives and Thai basil. Zesty and riveting on the palate, the wine conveys juicy fresh lemon and grapefruit expressions infused with a delicious undercurrent of flinty minerals. The Quincy finishes fleshy and delicious with green herbal tones and persistent waves of minerality that propel the wine’s juicy core of citrus fruit.
