This gorgeous, dark garnet Freedom Hill vineyard Pinot Noir is a knock out! Full, fleshy fruit and pretty floral notes are some of the highlights of this superb 2014 Freedom Hills. The palate possesses fantastic supple tannins and enough bright acidity to support the lovely 2014 fruit. The nose leads off with the distinctive aroma of ripe Hood strawberries and citrus peel, followed by rich, dark roasted coffee bean aromas. On the palate the flavors segue from strawberry and orange peel to red cherry skin and blood orange flesh. Earthy soil notes complicate the very long finish and leave the tongue coated with baking spices and mushroom soil notes. The tannins are firm and pronounced, yet beautifully integrated. Drink from 2016-2025.
